A simple card that enabled Canadian citizens and visitors to register their details for more further information in the run up to Expo67. It was included in a wide range of local, federal and provincial government communications and informational packs, as well as being made available internationally through participating countries.
The card was produced in the two official colours, Expo Red and Expo Blue. Interestingly, the guidelines for setting bilingual type (French and English) state that ‘Red should represent ‘English’ and ‘Blue should be ‘French’. In this example however, the colours have been reversed. It may be that the card was developed a short time before the guidelines were introduced, as both the postcard and the guidelines were produced in 1963.
