A twin 7″ vinyl pressing of the music from the opening and closing ceremonies of the 1976 Montréal Olympic Games. On the first disk are instrumental and vocal renditions of ‘Welcome to Montréal’ by Vic Vogel, while the second contains a selection of fanfares and themes that played during the ceremonies.
On the front of the cover are a pair of Raymond Bellemare’s flame symbols (representing the opening and closing ceremonies). The central gatefold includes a selection of images and profiles of the artists and performers, while on the reverse is an image of a model of the Olympic Stadium with supporting text.
