Removing the jacket reveals a contrasting white casebound cover, printed in a single striking red colour. An enlarged version of the feather silhouette wraps around the spine and to the back. This abstracts the plume somewhat, creating an almost Rorschach-like ‘inkblot’ mark left open to interpretation from the reader.
