This book was designed to accompany an exhibition of Canadian Inuit prints dating from 1957—1977. It followed an earlier exhibition of Canadian Inuit sculpture (called Inuit/Sculpture) that travelled internationally between 1971—1973.
The cover features a pale blue background with an image by Ananaisee and Thomasee Alikatuktuk, which is positioned at an angle. The type is similarly offset, with headings and subtitles in alternating black and white against the blue.
Inside, the prints are reproduced in black and white, with the blue continuing as a device to frame the works and highlight certain elements of the text, together with section introductions and supporting maps.
