This was the first publication promoting the members of the newly formed Society and their work, and was created during the presidency of Georges Beaupré (of which he is the founder along with Roger Lafortune). Each member was featured on a single spread (with a short biography and some key projects. The cover, designed by Max Mauve, reflected Quebec’s more emotive side with a single illustration of a heart being punctured by a pencil instead of the usual arrow. Georges Beaupré and Max Mauve designed the book together with support from André Demers, Luis F. Mejia and Jean Arcand.
