Reflections of Canada is a long running project designed to encourage a new generation of stamp enthusiasts. It brings together a variety of special edition stamp designs commissioned by Canada Post, and also promotes a major exhibition due to be held in Toronto the following year entitled the International Youth Philatelic Exhibition. Upon acquisition this piece was initially presented as a poster, but on closer inspection is actually a design for a book dust jacket, (but has never been folded). Unfortunately no record of the accompanying publication has been found.

Produced by Canada Post’s Philatelic Services division, the bilingual piece is thoughtfully designed over an effective grid, with the bold blue and white colour scheme providing an effective background for the stamp designs themselves.
