In June 1973, Burton Kramer Associates were appointed to develop a new corporate identity program for Reed Paper Canada, part of the giant British publishing and paper manufacturing conglomerate Reed International.
Part of this extensive program involved the development a large number of business documents and collateral. This peice formed part of the ‘Reed Corporate Information Centre’ suite of materials and functioned as a cover sheet for the collation and filing of ‘Current Business Trade Literature’.
The cover is printed onto a tan coloured stock, in Reed corporate colours — Brown and Orange/Red. In the lower 2/3 of the space sits a square ruled grid. Mapped atop of the grid sits a sequence of 9 Reed symbols, in incremental scale, providing a visual metaphor for business growth and markets.
