Perspective ’67 was an exhibition chosen from among works of art submitted in a visual arts competition sponsored by the Centennial Commission. The competition was devised to encourage the professional development of talented young Canadian artists and craftspeople.
The catalogue divides the content into colour-coded disciplines; Painting (red), Sculpture (yellow), Drawing & Prints (blue) and Fine Crafts (pink). The cover combines these colours into an isometric cuboid form to reinforce the relationship between the various disciplines and the physical nature of the galley space. Additional colours are created by the overlapping or combining of disciplines, with the whole form representing the combined works in a single exhibition.
