December 1965 saw the opening of Paul Arthur + Associates’ office in the city of Toronto, the studio’s third office. The founding office was based in Ottawa and its second in Montréal, having been established to facilitate the studio’s large body of work in for Expo67. The announcement also saw the arrival to Canada of US born Burton Kramer, employed by Arthur to run the new Toronto office and work on the signage program for Expo. Kramer at this point was returning to North America, having spent the previous 4 years working in Zürich for Erwin Halpern Advertising. Gerhard Doerrié is listed as primary contact in Ottawa and Harry Boller in Montréal.
The design of the card features PA+As monogram logo (designed by Jim Donoahue in 1963) and is printed in the firms corporate dark blue and cyan colourways. Typography is all in Univers.
A self promotional brochure for the studio was later released in early 1966 to further mark the occasion.
