A logo for Norisan Cattle Ranch by Frank Lipari, who at this time was transitioning from chief designer to artistic director at the Gazette Printing and Newspaper Group in Montréal where he famously worked for 38 years. Little is known about Norisan unfortunately.

This simple mono-linear marque harmoniously leads the eye to form the letter N, and is further capped off with a semi-circlular C set of horns/antlers. The introduction of a small eye in the negative space really brings this piece to life and is it’s greatest asset.
