A National Film Board glossary is a booklet prepared for secretaries, translators, and all those working in the cinematographic field throughout Canada, and includes words related to television, data processing and management.

This is the second, revised edition of the title, originally published in 1975. It is believed that the cover design remained unchanged.

The design of the cover utilizes Tony Wenman’s ‘Stripes’, an 8-line typeface made available by Letraset as part of its Letragraphica series in 1973. The words GLOSSARY (and GLOSSAIRE on the French side) are arranged to form a projecting typographic frame.
