A catalogue used to provide information on 16mm NFB films available for sale and rental within the United States through a network of US distributors. The publication is split into chapters based on film categories. Each listed title provides technical data and a synopsis, many of which also include a theatrical image in black and white.

This piece was designed by Clermont Malenfant with creative direction from Pierre Fontaine whilst working at the National Film Board of Canada. The cover is the star of the show (no pun intended) with its illustrated metamorphosis from maple leaves to stars and transitioning into hearts to complete the sequence. This is the first version of this design, printed in brown and red ink on the cover (and black and red ink inside). Another further edition was produced for 1976/77 with the cover altered to red and blue ink and on a white background.
