James Moody, one of the great bebop saxophonists plays a collection of arrangements (including 3 original songs) by Quincey Jones on this album published by Prestige Records. Rolf Harder uses a simple typographic approach to convey the layering of instruments and parts within the arrangements, whilst simultaneously drawing out the title of the record and the artist. A more idiosyncratic style than you may commonly associate with Harder’s work.
