One in a series of three simple bilingual leaflets that were designed to educate people about the 1976 Montréal Olympics, providing context, background and justification for the Games themselves, as well as useful information on timings for the various sports. This one is red (the others were blue and yellow) and includes rational behind George Huel’s identity for the Games, together with information on funding. The “talking heads” on the cover reinforce the desire of the piece to avoid misunderstandings when in conversation. These were produced on lightweight paper in large quantities to enable widespread mass distribution at low cost. One face in French (Je sais…) and the other in English (I know…).
