Éole manufactured kites and sold them from a boutique in old Montréal, plus nationally through sporting goods retailers. The owners were personal friends of Bellemare, who completed the work pro bono to help them out as they launched their business. The symbol is a stylized bird, clearly airborne, with the wings conveying a sense of swirling winds and clouds. An expanded, locked-up version of the identity (with accompanying wordmark) also incorporated a rainbow device, to add a sense of vibrancy and context.
