A 60 page booklet, originally published in 1946, 1961 and 1967 by the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and titled Eggs — Identification and Retention of Quality in Eggs. This new edition was renamed Eggs and Egg Products and updated by the Government of Canada’s Department of Agriculture (Agriculture Canada).
The cover, printed in 3 colours, is made up of 2 graphic ovals — 1 smaller whole egg and 1 much larger egg sliced in half with its central yellow yolk exposed. The title of the publication is set in capitalized Helvetica wrapping in the upper internal space of the cut egg. A simple design, much like the products themselves, but ever so appropriate. The inside text pages are printed in black and orange ink (with duotone images). These are purely informational and covers all aspects relative to eggs and their production.
