An annual collector’s publication of all the stamps produced by Canada Post in a given year, this edition being 1980. It follows the design standard that was used each year between 1977 and 1986 (you can see the other editions on the site here).

For this edition’s cover illustration Rolf Harder developed a distinctive series of maple leaves constructed from a grid of circles. Each leaf is colour treated to evoke the process of  ‘senescence’, the changing of colours seen through spring/summer and the synthesizing transition through to fall and early winter. The stamps featured inside included designs by Stuart Ash, Jean Morin, Heather Cooper, Jacques Charette, Yvon Laroche and Rolf Harder himself.
