Comment

An educational text book by Toronto based publisher Copp Clark focused, as the title suggests, on basic accountancy. This title was developed as a complete package for both students and teachers, and intended to span two full years of study.

The cover design is printed in red and magenta ink and is gloss laminated for protection, evoking a rather bold and bright confidence in its demeanour. Occupying a third of the cover, the dominant graphic bears reference to the incremental fluctuation of monetary values, set on two columns (in/out) whist viewed through the lens of education. The titles are set in Helvetica, but the inside of the publication bears no connection to the cover art, sadly.
